I always need to be working on the basics of design, but I
would like to include in that some real world scenarios such as font
use, stock photos, copyrights and what my responsibilities as the designer
are. I would also like to know more about pre-press
file preparation. What the
best way to organize color files and anything else that is necessary before a
project goes to print? I want to know more about options like embossing, foiling, laser cuts and other
possibilities and when NOT to use them. I would like to do a project
with those things in mind so that I know how to plan for them and set up a project from the
very beginning.
